About Kim Jerger
Kim Jerger brings over 30 years of healthcare leadership and clinical expertise to KJ Healthcare Innovations, with a unique perspective shaped by his deep understanding of both medical operations and architectural strategy. Throughout his career, Kim has held executive and director-level roles across hospitals, surgery centers, and health systems. He has overseen multi-million-dollar service lines, led perioperative and infection prevention departments, and driven operational excellence across a wide range of specialties. His ability to bridge clinical care and business strategy has allowed him to lead teams of up to 200 people and manage annual revenues exceeding $79 million. Kim’s professional background also includes serving as Interim CEO of a critical access hospital, where he doubled inpatient volume, improved emergency department throughput by 25 percent, and developed long-term service line expansions in collaboration with community partners.

At KJ Healthcare Innovations, Kim applies a proven track record of ambulatory surgical center (ASC) development. He has led more than a dozen ASC projects from concept through completion, including single-specialty orthopedic centers and multi-specialty facilities with spine, ENT, cardiovascular, and urology services. His leadership on the “ASC of the Future” initiative helped reduce startup capital requirements and improve five-year return on investment projections. Kim has also developed proprietary tools to assess space requirements, project case volumes, and determine operating room and staffing needs. Each project is guided by his focus on regulatory readiness, workflow efficiency, and clinical functionality, resulting in spaces that meet compliance standards and support sustainable healthcare growth.
